We are HERE for a spooky sequel. Especially when it continues on a story we loved from last year. Did you know that “The Ex Hex” was our very first buddy read (if you listen to the podcast you do 😉!) ?

What we loved:
- BABY WITCHES!!!
- Enemies to lovers AND grumpy/sunshine.
- Women empowerment and LGBTQ representation
- Action packed and the right amount of spooky vibes
- Meeting the third Penhallow brother
- Obviously, the king: Sir Purrcival

What we didn't love as much:
- Megs felt like if you didn’t read the first book, you may be a little lost as to what was happening and why, but Jax didn’t feel the same
- The ending felt really rushed. For all the buildup, it was resolved pretty quickly
- Wish we got more Gwyn and Wells as a couple, or at least more banter with them.
