I haven’t picked up a YA book in a while, but this one reminded me of why I loved the genre! It was utterly adorable, spectacularly charming, and perfectly heartfelt. Set in the magic of Salem, MA, this was the perfect read to kick off spooky season despite taking place in summer over October. There was young love, crazy aunts, a whimsical house, family curses, complicated relationships, and of course, magic! ✨ My only complaint was that I wanted more time to see how each of the relationships grew!
