Megs Review: Taste

Book: Taste
Author: Stanley Tucci
Genre: Memoir
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My first true 5-star book of the year! As a fan of books, movies, and carbs, this book gave me everything. Mr. Tucci (whose acting I have loved forever) gave a poignant and delicious account of growing up in the suburbs of New York City and brought us along as he grew and learned in his career. As someone who grew up with food being an important part of my life and relationships with family, friends, and partners, it was so wonderful to see food play such a pivotal role in someone else’s life as well. Even if you don’t like memoirs/ celeb books; I can’t recommend this enough- if only for the recipes he provides throughout!

ps. This is the FIRST book I’ve marked up with stickies so that I can go back and try the food myself.
