At the beginning of June, we had asked for Pride month recommendations. Nearly everyone responded with Red, White, and Royal Blue and now I understand why! This was easily my favorite book of June. (Yes, I’m weeks late on reviewing this!😬) Never have I ever giggled so much at a book. I’m talking out loud, feet tapping, oh-my-goodness, giddy giggling! My husband commented on it on more than one occasion.

I love this book! I love the characters and their witty banter. I won’t lie, I was a little hesitant to read a book with so much politics. The state of the world is sad enough as it is and reading is usually my escape from that, but I wasn’t bothered by any of it here. Alex and Henry were so adorable that their story outweighed the political nature of this book.

I laughed. I cried. I’m already counting down for the movie!
