Musing Review: Hook, Line, & Sinker

This was our biggest debate yet for a joint review! While we both agree that "It Happened One Summer" was far better than "Hook, Line, & Sinker", Megs was severely disappointed in this one. Jax still thoroughly enjoyed it though! Here's are some of our thoughts:

- This was too slow of a burn. While Meg didn’t loved the main characters, Jax was rooting for them the whole time. Regardless, we both just wanted them to get together faster!
- Everyone needs therapy, in life and in this book.
- We both hate a miscommunication trope, which was the base of this book.
- The spice was considerably lacking in book 2 and what was there was awkward, cringey, and the dialogue was “ew, David” 😖
