Adding to our #coho book collection, I picked up "Without Merit" completely on a whim. I've seen this described as a romance but to me, it read as contemporary fiction. Merit is trying to find her place in this world with an incredibly complicated home life. She is struggling to find her place in the world and at home with navigating feeling she's never had before and family secrets she is feeling burdened with. This was nothing like the other CoHo books I've read so far but still pretty enjoyable.
